Project sustainability

Are you a larger business? See how companies fund the project

For organizations with $1M+ consolidated revenue, published company prices help fund Jig.

Funding tiers โ–พ

Independent software, supported by companies that use it at scale

Jig is built and maintained by an independent creator. Businesses below $1M in consolidated group revenue can use Jig for free while they qualify; larger organizations buy company-wide permission at a published price. Everyone gets the same complete product, with no feature gates or license surveillance.

Company purchases fund the work of building and maintaining Jig, making broad access and independent development possible.

Each purchase covers twelve months of new official releases. Keep covered releases permanently; renew only when you want later releases.

$1M โ€“ under $10M revenue
$100/ year

Nominal contribution. One company purchase gives permanent rights to covered releases for your entire group.

$10M โ€“ under $100M revenue
$1,000/ year

Sustainable support. One company purchase gives permanent rights to covered releases for your entire group.

$100M+ revenue
$10,000/ year (capped)

Maximum price cap regardless of global revenue or employee count. One purchase covers your group's Jig use of covered releases.

What your purchase gives you

  • One purchase covers the entire company: Covers your consolidated group across all subsidiaries, servers, and developers. No seat counts, no per-core pricing, no usage metering.
  • Keep covered releases: Includes existing releases and all new releases first published during your twelve-month Update Term. Your rights to them last for the duration of copyright, even if you never renew.
  • 90-day grace period on growth: If your company revenue grows past $1M, you have 90 days after your annual assessment to purchase a license. You owe nothing retroactively for earlier legitimate free use.
  • Direct and simple: Email [email protected] with your group's legal identity, billing contact, and declared revenue band. Authorized seller Pereirinhos s.r.o. provides the order terms and official coverage record.

Common questions

What is the Bread License (๐Ÿž)?

Bread is the reusable source-available license model that Jig adopts. You can explore the upstream reference at bread.jig.md. The exact legal terms governing your use of Jig are defined in Jig's LICENSE.md, which pairs the Bread License text with Jig's completed adoption notice and price schedule.

What counts as annual revenue?

Revenue means your consolidated group's revenue for its last completed financial year using standard accounting rules. It does not include investment capital, funding rounds, company valuation, or employee headcount.

What counts as a "group"?

Your ultimate controlling parent and all entities it controls through voting rights or equivalent management control. A sole trader or independent business is its own group. Passive minority investments do not merge groups.

What happens if our company revenue grows past $1M?

You assess eligibility once a year. If you cross $1M, you have a 90-day transition period to acquire a company license or discontinue operational use. Earlier free use remains completely valid and free.

Can our supplier arrange our purchase for us?

Yes. A supplier or consultancy can arrange the purchase naming your group as the customer. The authorized seller (Pereirinhos s.r.o.) sends the coverage confirmation directly to you. Paying the supplier alone does not create Jig coverage.

What about FLOW, Sley, and independent Flows?

FLOW, Sley, third-party libraries, and Flows you write retain their own licenses. Bread covers only the Jig host software specified in the license adoption notice.
